Restoran Tak Kee @ Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands is definately One of the Best!

A short drive up to Gohtong Jaya is so welcome. Since it is not very far from where we are staying in KL, especially during the occasion going up to Genting Highlands. It will be great to drive up to Gohtong Jaya as we had waited to eat at Restaurant Tak Kee for a while. This place has been a favorite of ours and this is a trip not to be missed.

Customers who frequent this place are mostly regulars. It is easy to tell from the way they order as they know what is good here. You can chose to order separate individual dishes to go with white rice or simply order some noodles.

Dining here day or night can be a wonderful experience as the weather there is cooler (920 meters above sea levels). There are many restaurants to choose from once you made your way there but we always ended up in this particular restaurant.

MAKIRITO @ APW Bangsar~ Freshest Largest Poke Burrito!

In the APW Bangsar vicinity, there is a famous ootd/Instagram staircase spot that actually leads up to a small home of a special snack called the sushi burrito. This sushi burrito is actually the brainchild of Makirito that runs permanent pop shop here after having a lot of experimenting fun with their mobile pop up around the kl area.. You may spot a hand drawn menu on their windows alongside the pricing which is reasonable relative to their portion. I chose their Signature Salmon burrito (RM16) which is actually handmade individually by their expert makirito minions. It’s really a hearty treat after a nice cuppa coffee as the flavors are really refreshing and the Salmon is really fresh to be enjoyed.. They are actually a small little home to just sit for a while or to just grab and go. Their menu is still in the early stages with a few combinations but do expect them to have more funky combinations soon!

Craving for Crabs? Try Fei Fei Crab Restaurant ( 肥肥蟹海鲜饭店) @ Damansara Jaya PJ!

As its name suggests, this is a restaurant for serious crab lovers. Specializing in seafood generally, with crabs as their highlight, Fei Fei Crabs offers a good variety of dishes cooked in ways that most Malaysians love. It’s located in a middle shop lot and looks like any other local neighborhood eatery.
